Do you know of women industry leaders in the technology sectors that have made trailblazing movements and achievements? It’s time to recommend and nominate them for Women in Tech Awards! Nominations Open for 4th Edition of Singapore 100 Women in Tech Awards! The Singapore Computer Society (SCS), in partnership with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), is proud to announce the launch of the fourth edition of the Singapore 100 Women in. Tech (SG100WIT) list.

This SG100WIT list is an initiative, under the Singapore Women in Tech (SGWIT) movement, that spotlights and honours the achievements of women in Singapore’s tech industry, inspiring more women to pursue and advance their careers in technology, and nurturing young talents in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

SG100WIT Theme “Empowering Yourself, Inspiring Others”

The theme for SG100WIT is “Empowering Yourself, Inspiring Others”, this 4th edition of SG100WIT will celebrate 100 outstanding women across the Professional and Girls in Tech categories.

For the professional category, this recognises trailblazers who create innovative businesses or harness technology for organisational and societal benefit while advocating gender diversity.

For the “Girls in Tech” category, this recognises female students aged 13 and above who excel in STEM and demonstrate entrepreneurial spirit by leveraging technology to positively impact their communities.

Building on SG100WIT 2023’s success that saw a record of 800 nominations and doubled nominations for the “Girls in Tech” category, SG100WIT marks a significant milestone as it coincides with SG60 – Singapore’s 60th birthday in 2025. This year’s celebration will not only honour the remarkable contributions of women in tech across generations, but also highlighting the evolving roles of Women in Tech, and lasting impact on Singapore’s innovation and society. The SG100WIT list reaffirms the nation’s commitment to gender equality and empowerment, inspiring future generations to lead and drive technological transformation.

Tan Lee Chew, President of Women in Tech Chapter at SCS and President, Smart City & Digital Solutions at ST Engineering, shared her enthusiasm for this year’s SG100WIT initiative: “We are proud to champion an initiative that celebrates and empowers women in tech. By showcasing the stories of these trailblazers, we know we will inspire future leaders, break barriers, and shape the technology landscape of tomorrow. The rise in nominations over the years is a testament to the growing influence of women in the industry, and as we celebrate SG60, let’s continue to accelerate progress towards a more gender-diverse and dynamic tech workforce.”

Dorcas Tan, Co-Chairperson of SG Women in Tech and Acting Cluster Director, Human Capital Cluster at IMDA, echoed these sentiments: “As Singapore continues to position itself as a global technology and innovation hub, the role of women in shaping our digital future has never been more crucial. The SG100WIT initiative celebrates the achievements of women in tech while reinforcing our national commitment to building a diverse and forward-looking talent pipeline. As we advance towards Singapore’s Smart Nation vision, we must continue fostering an inclusive ecosystem where women can thrive, lead, and drive impactful change in Singapore’s tech landscape.”
