When the clock moves past 2359hrs today on 30th September 2015, we would be entering the 4th and final quarter of the year 2015. Time flies, I am now trying to recap and reflect on my nine months in the year 2015, this is also a time to bring back my thinking cap and get myself writing again. I could have just combined my summary of updates posts and consolidate it here, yet this was not what I was planning to do.

The 3 quarters of the year 2015 had indeed been very fruitful, it was very fulfilling. There were a number of heart aches, stress and pressure that cannot be seen yet it can be felt through my words, sharing and stories. Having the capability and ability to give and help people is a blessing and to receive a blessing is another great blessing. There are many times when I felt very discouraged when I give, my kindness was taken advantaged of and abused. There were times I almost gave up helping, there might be a few times when I gave up on some and there were probably many more times that I never gave up on them. Life’s blessings back to you can be in the the form of the most unexpected and out of the blue type, totally blown away when the good and well wishes returned back to you.

Of the ups and downs, I can only grow when I learn from my mistakes and climb up from the bottom. On the other hand, I must remain grounded and not let small success get into my head, I must remain humble, continue to learn more and improve myself. Life is never smooth sailing and many times, a roller coaster or a ship sailing through heavy storms and choppy seas.

feature on Straits Times newspaper in May 2015, it’s so amazing, I am really blessed and I am very thankful. This was a great testimonial for my passion and commitment in photography. I wasn’t able to take time and sit down to really write down my thoughts and emotions of this feature and achievement. When I travel overseas for my holiday, I will take the time to write another post on it. Another significant landmark for me was to be part of Promising SME 500 2015 as a representative for my company! This is another life story that I hope to share and write more in-depth about it soon!

I helped and worked with Keith Crackling Roast previously, one of my personal photography projects to help fellow entrepreneurs. Therefore when I saw my photography works being displayed at Keith Crackling Roast outlet, I am proud of my achievements and how far I had walked with my photography.

Producing my own photo book was something of an adventure into an unknown that I set my course upon. During that 6 months, I learned a lot, made mistakes, produced a very personal and uniquely my own style photo book that is definitely not professionally laid out and designed. Life always throw you something to learn, regardless of your age, experiences and life stage.

With the good, nice and happy things, comes the bad, ugly and hurt. The backstabbing, the hurt, the nonsense and all the rubbish, managing and handling such negative things  took some time. There were times when helping people and it just felt hurtful to be not appreciated.

Life is never smooth sailing, it’s full of obstacles and challenges. I must always remember to count my blessings, be grateful, be thankful, to pay-it-forward.

Let’s make the 4th and final quarter of 2015 a great final sprint!
